So here’s a start of a new series, Tub Talks.. They’re basically just random thoughts that come to my brain while sitting in the bath and then I rush to wipe off my hands and grab my phone, open up the notes app and just brain dump. Then, I share it with Y’all!
One the the only reasons why I didn’t post my first Tub Talks yet is because I didn’t know what kind of image to put… I was looking all over Canva for cool bath photos but I didn’t want a typical bath photo…. Ya know what I’m sayyyyyyinnnn?? So here is this, and I’m not apologizing for it. It’s amazing what a little photoshop can do and I think it’s pretty suitable for this series, because really they’re just little big thoughts that I share to you from my hyped up squirrel brain. (Also thanks to Katie for snapping this jumping photo of me. You’reeee da bomb and I bet ya didn’t think I’d be using it for this, but does it surprise you?)
So, after a few beers a full belly of pizza this thought came to me..
Celebrating the uniqueness that is you
Oh my damn, it’s so confusing this world is, isn’t it? Did that sentence make sense?
This is something I’ve been thinking about… Breaking the habit that is our society. What our society says you need to be and do. Now I’m not talking about breaking the law, but I am talking about the mentality that society puts on us… Like, if you don’t do this, then you’ll be like this, and if you don’t act this way then you’ll never get here. Well, (insert middle finger emoji here) because I’m #overit. Now don’t go crazy but I want you to think, what is it in your life that’s your calling or what sets your soul on fire. What is it IN you that’s beautifully uniquely crafted and isn’t like anyone else. Do some soul searching and find what is in you that is so different. Sometimes it’s irritating, and it feels like an insecurity, and perhaps it’s something you’ve been teased about your whole life.. Grab that, hold onto that because that one thing can impact another human life one day and do such great things on this planet.
Just a few little words from me on this Saturday night.
Love ya babes. Xo
