I’ve never been a huge breakfast person and to be honest, sometimes my breakfast is three cups of coffee. I know, not good. However, after becoming a Mom, I wanted to find something that would nourish me and be quick and easy in the mornings.
Now let me first say, I’m not a huge protein shake kinda gal. In fact, I typically can’t stand the taste. But I came across Ora Organic and Y’all, I’m a changed woman. But really, the protein powder isn’t chalky and it tastes delightful.
I also add some Vital Proteins to my shake as well. I found it while I was having some pretty crazy postpartum hair loss. I felt like it was starting to grow back but then it would just stop after a few inches. I started taking this and those baby hairs are finally starting to grow again!
So this smoothie is super easy.
2 Scoops of the Ora Organic Protein Powder
A handful of spinach
1 cup of almond milk or coconut milk (then I fill the rest with water)
1 Scoop of Vital Proteins
2 Ice Cubes
That’s it! So easy and sometimes I’ll add a little nut butter or a banana too!
This morning smoothie has really kept my energy going. I also feel like drinking this in the morning has really helped with some of the bloat I was having but I feel like over-all it gives me tons of energy and it gives me that extra boost!
