What a beautiful city you are Chicago. When we first talked about going to Chicago I was kinda like meeehhhh, being from Michigan I have been to Chicago more times than most but the more I thought about it, I never really explored Chicago. I never went to any little hole in the wall cafe’s, I actually have never been to Navy Pier in the day light and to be honest, growing up most of my day’s were spent at American Girl doll and stuck in sweaty convention centers for dance competitions.
So we decided to go for our anniversary and damn it do I love big cities.
Cafe Integral oh, Cafe Integral. I had no idea a cafe like this existed, the overall chill vibe of space was a dream. The avocado on toast was a burst of amazingness in my mouth and honestly I could have stayed there all day. You Chicago living’ babes, you’re uber lucky to have a space like this!
So this was the first time Matt and I have ever gone to the bean. Of course we had to take the typical “bean selfie” OH NOTE. Don’t go into the middle of the bean and look up. Especially if you’ve already been drinking because it makes you feel 10x more drunk.
Giordano’s. The space of damn good food and pretty floors.
Chicago Hotdog. No need to say anything else.Pretzel glazed chocolate drizzle at Stan’s donuts. No need to say more. again. This ammmmmmaaayyyyzzzzzinnngggness. Yeah this is superman ice cream sandwiched between two macaroon cookies. uh buh yea. I found this at Navy Pier at Snow Dragon Shavery
