This is definitely my favorite time of year. The days are cooling down, but it’s still warm enough where you don’t have to wear layers upon layers. I feel like it’s kind of an awkward stage though, You’re not sure to wear jeans and sweaters or shorts and tees. But luckily I was looking through Madewell and found some really great staples for this transition weather as well as for the fall and winter seasons.
This first outfit I’m loving for right now. I can’t get enough of this top and jeans. I’m telling you these guys, these jeans just hug you in all the right places. I feel so comfortable in them and I love the button up in the front (holds you in good) and the distressed bottoms. These are paired perfectly with some mules and some booties for when it gets cooler!
These shorts have been a really big staple in my wardrobe. I know it’s a little late to be purchasing shorts but if anything, get them for next season! (They’re majorly marked down!) They’re super high waisted and flare out a little, which I love. I think that look is super flattering for anyone. But we’re still getting some mid 70 days so pairing them with this long sleeve top is perfect.
Let’s chat about this sweater. You know when you pull something out of the box and instantly you’re like wow this is GOOD. That’s how I felt when I tried this on. It’s a little cropped but not too cropped. You know what I mean? It’s a little heavier but also light. I’m loving it and can’t wait to get a ton of wear out of it.
For this last outfit, oh my gosh. This might be one of my most favorite outfits I’ve ever owned the top is so darling. I love the ruffled detail but it’s not too much, just enough. The polka dots are timeless and the fit is really great. I paired it with the same denim and these SHOES. I feel like leopard anything is the perfect neutral but it’s also a statement. It can be worn is so many different ways. I’m so excited to get a ton of wear out of these babies this fall.
