A while back I saw the hack of if you put Hydrangeas in a sink full of cold water overnight they’ll come back to life. I’ve done it once and it worked. However this time it didn’t work. But my friend Kaci from Damsel Floral messaged me and said if I put them in warm/hot water, clip the stems, trim off all the leaves and fill the vase up all the way and let them sit in there they’ll come back to life. To be honest, I thought HOT water?! I was super skeptical which is silly because Kaci is a florist but I was like okay, I’ll give it a try and YOU GUYS. It worked!
After just a few hours I saw the Hydrangeas come back to life and I’m amazed! I’m so excited for this hack and can’t believe how well it worked, such a time saver and money saver!
Her exact words were –
Put in warm to the touch, but not steaming water in the vase
Pluck in flowers. Have it cover 90% of the stems, but not the flower
Remove all big leaves.
Once they’re back to normal, hydrate as normal from now on!
Hope these tips helped!
